*A replacement post for yesterday
I went to a well-known shopping mall in town for lunch yesterday due to no cafeteria was on business in the campus.
A guy in his 40s was just suddenly approaching me when I was taking the escalator to the food court. Perhaps he is from middle east. He held his hand on my shoulder for a short while and asked for my origin place. It was a bit awkward to answer his question. Therefore, I answered coldly with a word, "local". Eventually he just walked away and I continued to proceed to my destination.
I was not sure whether he managed to listen for what I had mentioned. I just felt a bit awkward to talk to a stranger. I am insecure to be anywhere in this country. Am I over self protective?
