Curtain

Nowadays, everything is expensive. We asked for a quotation for our new house curtain. Almost RM2k for 2 pieces of curtains installation at the master bedroom and living room.

Besides, I noticed that my incomes and expenses are imbalance recently. Luckily, I earned a little bit extra for the EIPO to cover on those expenses.

Those non-regular expenses are:
1) Road tax and auto insurance
2) Medical card insurance
3) Car maintenance (engine oil, services)
4) Study fees
5) Dental fees

Automobile cost is really high. I want to have a CHANGE!

Quick Cut

Today I went to have a haircut.

Nowadays, it becomes more expensive. RM12 increased to RM15 and it increased to RM16 now.

Luckily, it has a "cut 4 free 1" promotion.

RM16 X 4times = RM64
RM64 / (4+1times) = RM12.80

Therefore it is RM12.80 instead of RM16 per haircut. Therefore it is still acceptable for me.

Friend's Mum Funeral

Yesterday night I went to my secondary school friend's mother funeral at his house. I went to give the "pek kim" - sort of console monetary once I reached there. Later on, I had a chat with a few of my ex-schoolmates over there. We had some light refreshment as well.


Before we left, we talked to my friend who mother was passed away. I noticed that my friend's eyes were reddish. Previously, I heard from other friends mentioned that the mother death was due to cancer. Sigh...... I was thinking...... Human life is so uncertain. I must try my best to live happily together with my loves one. God bless......

Driving License

I just renewed my driving license via MyEG today.

One year renewal cost is RM30. You can renew up until 5 years in maximum. An e-services charge of RM2 is applied. This service cost is the same if you settle it at the post office.

Besides that, there is a new term for driving license renewal. It is the "adjustment date Competent Driving Licence (CDL) by date of birth which means the new effective expiry date of the driving license will be adjusted in accordance to applicant’s next date of birth. 

If the duration is between 1 to 6 months to the next birth date, the government will incur the adjustment fee for the extended period where the operational date of the CDL will be adjusted automatically according to the date of birth.

If the duration is more than 6 months, the fee will be charged as follows:

a) RM30 for class A, B and C licenses - where the current amount is RM20 for a period of one year and RM10 charge for the remaining next period exceeding 6 months but less than 12 months.
b) RM45 for other than class A, B and C licenses - where the current amount is RM30 for a period of one year and the balance of RM15 is charged to the next period exceeding 6 months but less than 12 months."

Complaint Email

Yesterday I wrote a complaint email to the developer's maintenance section.

Dear Sir/Mdm,

I am one of the property owner of XXXXXX. As mentioned in the subject, I want to make a complaint about the car porch concrete imprint.

I would like to find out what can be done about the situation below.

Since the handover of property at last year, I found out that there were surface cracking and footprints at the car porch concrete imprint. Consequently, I made a complaint about this matter to XXXXXX maintenance section.

After the complaint was made, XXXXXX maintenance section did arrange for the repairing on that defective car porch. Unfortunately, the repairing result is not satisfactory. This is due to the defective portion was covered with the sealer which is different colour from the original's. It caused two significant difference of colour between the repaired portion and the overall car porch. Seriously, the colour is too dark, glossy and disgusting. It is totally different from the original or show house conrete imprint's colour which is matt and pleasant. Besides, the footprints were not repaired with professionalism as they were just simply covered with cement/material which spoil the beauty of the concrete imprint.

I noticed that there are a few houses in that areas also encounter the same problem as mine. However, the whole area of car porch concrete imprint was repaired and covered with the sealer which is dark and glossy. I strongly disagree to the sealing of concrete imprint with that particular dark and glossy sealer to my car porch. It is not only looks unpleasant but the risk of flaky/peeling in future. As it was suspected that if too much colour pigment has been added to the imprinted concrete sealer resulting in the sealer being unable to penetrate the concrete slab properly.

Now, my dilemma is the concrete imprint was repaired but not satisfactory as the repaired portion's colour is different from the overall car porch area and posing the risk of peeling/flaky. I strongly need your attention on this matter and hope for your fast action and advise on how this matter can be resolved.

Concrete Imprint

Today I learn about a new process which is the concrete imprint. Site Preparing (White Sheet/Steel Net) - Concrete Pouring - Harderner Applying - Release Agent Applying - Pattern Stamping - Surface Cleaning - Expansion Gap Cutting - Decoration - Sealer Applying. This is due to the complaint on the defect concrete imprint in the new house. 

Such an irresponsible contractor and developer. They are not professional. The colour at the repairing patch is not match with the original's. Some neighbours' house are even worse. They covered the whole concrete imprint with glossy dark colour which is ugly and totally different from the original's. They did not do that to mine as the house was under renovation at that reworking time. Hopefully they can rework it in a proper manner as soon as possible. I think I need to make a complaint officially via email.

Crime

Recently, I read and watched a lot of news through the media about the crime in Malaysia. I feel more insecure nowadays. Places like shopping complex's car park became a hot spot for those snatching thieves.

Yesterday night, parents went to a relative's wedding dinner. I was quite worrying throughout the night as they reached home at about 11.30pm. Purposely, I set alarm to wake me up at about 10.30pm in order to ensure parents were back in home safely. The time of waiting was really long and worrying. I was worried and indeed it was due to the recent occurrence crimes. Thanks god and I heard noises of my parents late at 11.30pm. Consequently I only managed to sleep sweetly.

Now, I only understood parents' feeling. I was shamed that I did not assure or inform them my location when outing previously. I thought of having privacy(who did I went out with). Perhaps I should tell them where am I going at least.

Expenses

I felt really tight for my cash flow in recent months. Not enough to spend.


Such a high expense in transportation. There are a lot of things on due in these coming months. They are:

1) Car Insurance
2) Road Tax
3) Driving License
4) Car Maintenance (Engine oil, brake pad......)
5) Toll


I hate the toll. Such a blood sucker. Damn it.

SGS2 Battery Discharging

After I had upgraded my Samsung Galaxy S2 firmware to ICS 4.0.3, the battery discharging was unstable. It discharged for more than 50% within the night when the phone was in idle mode.

I did try for several methods from the internet but it didn't help much for the stabilization of battery discharging. The phone was getting freaking hot and caused the battery discharged drastically. 

I did kill the running applications. I did clear the cache. I did clear the RAM. I did dismantle the battery and install it back. It became better for sometimes only. I was still configuring of the cause of the abnormal discharging problem.

Heart Says

Is it compulsory to have a wife and children in our lives? Parents kept on hinting on their wishes and hopes to have their grandchildren. Perhaps, there were relatives that gave birth to babies recently.

It was really annoying. Frankly speaking, I am happy to be alone at this moment. All of you might not understand my worries. I was not happy at all in my previous relationship. I knew it. This was my heart says. It was just hardly for me to share everything truthfully with a lady. What can I do? My heart is really painful and I feel wanna cry. Why can't we live for ourselves? Relatives and friends will just affecting my life. Anyone can understand me? Help me...... In fact, I can still sustain with all of these. However, I don't know am I strong enough to withstand all of these influences and effects in future?

Tea break

We had our departmental meeting last Thursday. It was about activities for marketing purposes (attract prospective students and advertise to public). This is due to the declining of new intake students in recent years.

After the meeting, we had our tea break. There were curry puffs with egg, roasted chicken wings, doughnuts, muffins, 100 Plus and etc....... They should inform us earlier as the food were bought with our departmental fund which is collected from us monthly. This is important so that I can arrange my dinner accordingly. I was really not satisfied with it.

Change

I am really angry. Keep on changing. Once decided, don't chance anymore. Else, don't decide so early. I am damn sick with this scenario now. Not satisfy and insist to change even though things have been done and decided. Sigh......Is that women's instinct? However one thing that I appreciated a lot is your cooking and caring. Women's uncertainty on something is really frightening.


Please, I want to maintain the colors. No repaint anymore, OK?

Sacrifice

I am thinking...... Sacrifice in work/company does pay off?

There are good examples that companies gave good bonus, increment and benefit to the employee after their hard work. However, there are bad examples as well.

Hard work pays off. To be realistic, I think we should give ourselves a timeline to have the rewards, else we are just being a stupid workaholic.

Yin Yong

What is the food you dislike the most? Now I can answer you. It is the "Yin Yong".

I was eating it again yesterday night. It was packed by parents from the food stall. The reason I hate it is the "mihun" and "keowtiao" which were being fried were really oily and disgusting with the sticky sauce. I felt like vomiting after eating. Therefore I had leftover for yesterday portion. Such a waste!

McD chicken foldover promotion is damn worthy. I got a self-printed coupons from my colleague a few days ago. Mum went to buy it for our lunch. Buy one free one. Ala carte chicken foldover for RM9++. It was quite big portion. We had it for tea break as well due to leftover during lunch.

Nice Vocal

Eventually, Ms. Han Yen Fen got her champion in this round (lively style) after she lost in the last two rounds. She obtained the highest point at the beginning for the final contest and she just did not have the luck during the PK session. Luckily this time she won it.
 
She is damn good in her singing. She is really a talented singer with a nice vocal and she is still single in her 40s. Wishing her good luck and all the best for both her singing career and relationship!

Alarm

Today morning I woke up late due to my mobile phone was drained out of battery. Seriously the mobile phone was gone something wrong recently. There was still about 40% of battery level before I went to bed yesterday. However, it had no battery charge at all in the morning. Luckily I did not late to work. I think I need some back up alarm rather than just depending on the phone alarm.

Spiderman 2012

I just come back from a movie - The amazing spiderman. 

The storyline is not that interesting but I did enjoy the action shot. In fact, the actor and actress are young and cute. I did not feel touching on the kissing scene. Perhaps the story continuity is a bit rushed.

I just feel Tobey Maguire is better on this spiderman character as he is cute and cool. This new actor - Andrew Garfield is a little bit taller that make him not that suitable for this character. I think Tobey Maigure is tiny, interesting, handsome and cool to take this character.

Yesterday I kept track on the news about 2 political parties debate which was held on last Sunday. MCA-ChuaSL vs DAP-LimGE.

Sayonara

Today the maid called "brother" and said goodbye to me before she went back to my sister's place. In fact, today is the last day to meet her as she will back to her own country soon.

Actually I am quite grateful and feel touching. At least she did help up quite a lot around our house. I have nothing to give her and I returned with a goodbye to her as well. Hopefully, she will have a bright future. I am blessing her to have a happy and good life in future. Sayonara! 有点依依不舍的感觉!

Renovation Status

I went to have a look on the new house renovation progress. Most of the things are almost done. Extension structural framework(concrete, door, windows), wall and floor finishes (ceramic tiles) and electrical wires installation are done. Now it was painting job. We were discussing on the colour selection and eventually we chose to have blue, green, yellow and white for indoor room. Outdoors' we decided to remain the same colours as original's.

Drama Storyline

I just finished watching the drama from episode 27 to 35(last). This drama name is castle. I just too eager to know the entire storyline of the drama. 

In this drama, I like to watch 2 characters. They are 晴川 and 四阿哥. Indeed they are very attractive. Sadly both of them are not together eventually. 四阿哥 is a cool man. I like to watch the scene that he hugged the girl from her back with force. Wild and power. I like it.

Painting

Which colour is better for the bedroom? Blue......Green......Red...... I prefer green as it represents natural and neutral for me.

I learned from the brochure that green can be matched with soft colour like white and grey. Since the living room will use white, I planned to have a mixture of green and white for my bedroom due to cost saving purpose. However, white plus green will create green+white (pantang as seemed like unhealthy face colour). I was still considering......

Salary

Today I accompanied my buddy Mr Y to have his dinner. Actually, he wanna passed a pc-to-tv audio converter cable to me. However, that is not the cable that I am looking for. I went to DAISO and failed to find it also.

We had a nice chat. Again we discussed about money, money and money. Recently I feel like quitting my current job. Reason......low pay and less benefit......However, I should just find part time instead. Sigh......benefit......distance......environment......this and that......crazy......

Maid

My sister's maid is going to leave and back to her own country soon. Mum talked to her quite a lot yesterday. She seemed sad for leaving as mentioned by mum. She was uncertain of leaving. However, everything is decided by her mother and she is going to leave eventually.


I did have such a weird thinking floating in my mind. Is that good to have she to be my wife? In fact, she is not demanding. She can do most of the housework as nowadays no lady has such characters. She is young, timid and obedient at this moment. Unfortunately, she is not capable to socialize and manage spontaneous issues. We do have communication problem as well as our mother tongue are different. Perhaps, I don't think she is going to be as timid as now after becoming a wife. Sometimes, I was afraid to be alone. Sometimes, I was even scared to live with a "38". What to do?

Study Loan

Time flies. It has been awhile(about 6 months) I do not repay back the study loan. In order to avoid troublesome from the "loan shark", I need to activate my account by banking in 100 bucks. Sigh, my cash flow is damn tight nowadays. House loan, car maintenance and insurance, study fee and etc...... No choice, 100 bucks hopefully can cover one of your eye. Haha!

Hairstyle and Attire

I prefer to have a short and sporty hairstyle. Besides, I like to have formal and stylish attire as well. Normally, I like to watch those guys with short hair with stylish attire. I just feel like to be as cool as them. I met one during my dinner at a restaurant today. He is considered a waiter. He has a tanned skin with short handsome hairstyle. He has a cute face as well.

Data Usage

Now I noticed that the 5GB data plan is really not enough for my monthly usage. Perhaps I streamed a lot of video clips previously. 

Yesterday, the data usage was exceeded and it was throttled to an extremely slow speed. Oh my gosh...... I can't even browsed my email smoothly. Therefore, UNIFI subscription is one of the solution. Well, I have to pay more for this service of course. However there are still a bundle of advantages from this package.
