Government Service 16 Dec

*A replacement post for 16 Dec 2013

We went to Immigration Department of Malaysia and National Registration Department of Malaysia for passport and identity card application. I can said their service was improving a lot. Fast and efficient. I managed to settle everything within 3 hours, from 7:30am to 10:30am. Only the identity card was pending for processing for about 10 working days. I got my passport at around 10:30am.

While waiting for the passport, we went to eat our breakfast in a nearby Chinese coffee shop. Then we shopped in a nearby hypermarket. This hypermarket gave bad experiences to me for a lot of times. This round, the security guard disallowed me from bringing in my bag even though I was already in the market for some time. He asked me to handover my bag to him when I planned to get the brochure at the customer service counter which was not available at that moment. I felt it was a bit uncomfortable of his deed. He should stop me from entering at the beginning. The situation was awkward like I was being suspected of stealing something from their store.

On our way home, the road design is really poor as it was really congested due to the bottle neck and sloping bridge whereby a lot of heavy vehicles that used it. They climbed slowly like a tortoise that made the traffic congestion.

Later, we went to the travel and tour agency to ask further on the ground arrangement that we requested previously. We made the booking. The salesgirl asked about the person who serviced us previously because they had commission for each deals. Unfortunately I did not remember so I asked her to take the deal.
